Well, this site is officialy dead. It will never be updated or made over. Actually soon it will no longer exist. The only maintained site now is my blog. Moreover you can find me at Flickr and at Youtube. Also i am active at Anime.gr and SFF.gr these days.
Long time since the last update!! I am not a student anymore (gor my master's degree in "Advanced Information System" in December) and am currently working. Hence, my web site has moved from the university server to this one (my DSL's provider server). Furthermore, I have also opened a blog now. Please check it out, though i have not yet decided if it will be a "thoughts" blog or some other one (dealing with a particular subject). PS: I promise to give this site a make-over sometime soon ;-)
Four months passed in Vienna and now i have returned to Greece... I am
not the most thrilled person in the world, but Greece has its own plus,
somewhere, i guess. :-)
I have updated my previous entry (04-05-2006) with all the things that
made an impression on me from the various countries I have been, and i
am currently busy correcting my third nouvelle, which should be uploaded
pretty soon.
This whole section has been moved over to my blog

Six months later... how time flies... :-( Lots of things have happened.
Our little movie was finished(!), taken the department permission and
shown to the people. It went better than we thought. The web-site is
HERE!!!. I am so-so-so much happy we finished it and well at that!!! We thank
everyone and anyone for their help. Please check it out!! The OST will
be up for download soon!!! (tip: the second one is being planned as I write these lines)
As far as the nouvelles are concerned, my first two nouvelles have been
corrected and re-posted!!! I believe that most of the orthographical errors have been corrected now and i corrected lots of syntax and logical errors too! I also updated my copyright, so don't get any
ideas ;)
Hello everybody (well, anybody ;)!!!!! I am happy these days for many reasons!! Well, except my private life, who i am
sure noone is concerned about, i have passed every course demanded by the postgraduate programm to pass and now i can
get my diploma anytime!! (however i still want to attend one or two courses and some more in Vienna as an Erasmus student
but i am done-done-done anytime i want! :-)
Onto other issues, the nouvelle i had writren for the CENEGA, UFO:AFTERMATH and UFO:AFTERSHOCK fan-fiction contest did not
win, BUT I saw it being posted in
the contest website as one of the 14 best they received!! (Just click on "A day in the life by Spiros Kakouris"

How time flies! Yup, i am still alive and kicking (and Lineage-ing! Thanx Rania :-) The web-site was supposed to
be frequently updated, but i guess i am not that type of person after all... :-| In other news, the bookmarks section
is updated with new -and tested- bookmarks, and in the "my nouvelles" section there are TWO new entries! :)
First off, my essay entry in the 2005
Goi Foundation Contest (Not SciFi at all, but too bored to make new section JUST for this) Know that since i sent
the entry, the copyright automagically exists and belongs to the sponsors of the contest!
Second, my scifi entry in the Cenega Software's
contest for a story based on the (still not as good as X-COM :-) game: UFO-aftermath. Know that since i

New Section!!! The "Professors-Talk" section is up and running! I would like to stress once again that this section is purely made for the fun of it, with no harmful intention whatsoeve, and is inspired by George-says-it.com and John-says-it.com pre-US-election sites. Enjoy :-)

Exams and studying leave a little time for writing, and sadly, even less energy
and enthousiasm :-(
The web-site is updated with a "tribute to Saikano" page, and with the update of the
bookmarks pages (BTW, FireFox's bookmark exports SUCKs!! No customization at all)
and the abolishment of "suicide square" from "My Nouvelles" page (for "maintenance" ;-)
Less time since my last update. Not much is happening and i do not have enough time to do a proper update. However, i will soon update the "my nouvelles" page with the only one i have not put up yet.
Again a lot of time since i last updated...
Unfortunately the Greek soccer team appeared to only be
"effective" during the Euro 2004 football championship!!
We are still hoping however!!
Other than that, the "MyGames" section is pretty much closed,
as the only game so far has been removed (i do not think i will
ever continue it within 1 or 2 years' time. If someone wants to do
it instead, i will send him the source code. should he/she email me).
However, a new section "MyImages" is being opened, featuring images-photos
altered in image editing tools (the_gimp,photoshop [whenever i find one installed], etc).
It's a hobby of mine to alter pictures with special effects and/or join them
together. Although i usually am not patient enough to sit through and do the job
without any glitch. Anyway, enjoy :)
A lot of time since i last updated... Lots of things have happened since.. Greece has won in Euro 2004 football championship!! (GREAT TEAM!) The Olympic Games are about to end (they were pretty smooth ;-) and the exams are about to start :-( The best thing in these last few days was the concerts held from Mikro at Omonoia square. I attended the two concerts at 24 and 26/08 and had a VERY VERY VERY NICE TIME!!!! they totally rock!!!! PS: Here is a photo!!

So... i've been reading PHP and the new page is up... complete with a counter and a shoutbox... I'm pleased... although PHP seems to do a LOT of stuff and i'd like to implement even more..."
Soon (?) i will change the page to .php and will add a counter or sth (thanks to Pvl ;-), but for now "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to all!!! Oh, and a little update in the "my nouvelles" section (gr only). A tiny nouvelle (2,5 pages) named "Suicide Square"
Don't even know how many people read this (except some friends of mine) but a new section "My games" is up, with a little (Win-only for now) game i made while i was trying to learn how to use SDL. As you can see i still have a problem with the controls. Whoever wants any info at all, the source or wants to help me or likes the game, email me.
Update in the "my nouvelles" section... the 2nd one (the one i wish to forget the most) is up... Oh well... Let it be :-) ,+there will be a new section up soon!
A new section is up and running!! The "my nouvelles" section, which is what
the name implies! Apart from that, i recently saw "the matrix:revolutions", so here is a mini
review (spoiler-free) for whomever is interested.
The movie is action-packed but misses the "furiosity" of the second one, it has some "philosophical"
quotes, but they miss the "spirit" of the first one. Its conclusion was difficult to fully comprehend
(in my one viewing), perhaps it needs to be seen a second time, perhaps it is intended to be so, perhaps
it could not be done otherwise. Anyway, it is a nice big action movie, none-the-less, so whomever is
interested in that, is going to be overhoyed, whoever seeks a new "matrix 1" may be dissapointed (BADLY)...
It's a pity that the positioning in CCS is not well supported by the brosers, because it is a really nice idea! Oh well... should learn PHP i guess... For now, this site will remain simple and CCS will only be responsible for the "unified" look! A new update is on its way!! (a whole new section at that)
this is my first news item. It's not very big, but it is just as big as it is needed in order for me to test this css stuff... Things will go on like this from now on! With editable news items... The page has just got started!! It will be updated soon!
