Weather station specifications:
The station was placed at Chania in 6.3.2011. Temperature and moisture mettering instruments are placed 3m above the ground which is mostly tarmac in the south for about 4 m wide (small road and a parking lot at the west) and soil in the other 3 directions and especially far from the station there are forests to the north. Windmeter is 3.5m above ground and due to the suroundings and some obstacles, such as trees and a building in the west, as well as the fact that it is placed near a small stream and in generall in a mountain slope, it doesn't record most of the wind's directions and especially the west and east ones.
