Weather station specifications:
The station was placed at Chania in 6.3.2011. Temperature and moisture instruments are 3m above the ground which is mostly tarmac in the south for 4 m (small road and a parking at the west) and soil in the other 3 directions and especially far from the station there are forests to the north. Windmeter is 3.5m above ground and due to the suroundings and some obstacles, such as trees and a building in the west, as well as that it is placed near a small stream and in generall in a mountain slope it doesn't record most of the wind's directions.
