Overview:Video Codecs: A video codec allows you to save a video into another format as simply as using the "Save As" dialogue, or capture directly into a video format. Usually video codecs don't provide the power and range of features offered by stand alone encoders, but they offer ease of use and allow to capture video directly into a compressed format.
