Overview:

CD Mastering Applications: Before actually writing a CD, you need to specify and organize the data that will be transferred. For this purpose, you need a program which will let you choose files, directories, tracks, and offer options on how you want them transferred on CD.
The basic requirement is to be able to specify files and directories, but a pre-mastering application may offer many more options, for example regarding the file system and the disc layout.
