Verbs
Subjunctive & Future Simple 2 and ‘πρέπει’
The subjunctives of verbs ending in -άω οr –ώ are exemplified below by μιλάω which changes to μιλήσω and γελάω to γελάσω. The final endings (underlined) are the same as those for αγοράζω which we looked at in the previous lesson. NB not the same as their present tenses

stated before, all the subjunctives are provided for you in the dictionary. The
Crosswords contain the word πρέπει followed by
να which literally means ‘it is necessary that’. The examples
below show how the verb relates to the English word ‘must’
